You can move a paragraph up or down within a Microsoft Word document by clicking inside the paragraph (you don't need to select the paragraph) and then pressing ALT+SHIFT+UP or ALT+SHIFT+DOWN (where up and down are the up and down buttons on the keyboard. The whole paragraph will be selected and then moved up or down, one paragraph at a time.
