Hello all,
I'm trying to come up with a formula which will sum the values of named cells based on whether a user answers Y or N for some criteria in a table.
Table:
Travel Meal Allowances
Arrival Departure
B L D B L D
Y Y Y Y Y Y
The named cells and values are:
BreakfastRate - 17
LunchRate - 17.25
DinnerRate - 45.55
So if any of the above answers are Y, it will sum the values.
Does this make sense?

I want to calculate the day's work, but I have letters in the row. I also need to calculate the number off days off wich is mark by an "x" in the row.
